A few years ago, my olders grandson, 8, Alex, took his first deer with a Ruger in 7X57 using 120 grain bullets. 120 yards, one shot, ran 35 yards and piled up. I am so proud of that rifleman!!!! Art

Several times the Bersa .380 has been mentioned. I own one and it is a dandy firearm. It has a little weight to it so recoil is less. Slide is easily manipulated and accuracy at 15 yards is very good. I carry Golden Sabre's in it and it will do the job. I like it for deep cover. And it won't break t...

Marlin 308 MX

I have recently purchased a Marlin 336 in .308MX. I even went all out and put Burris base and rings and a new Leupold 2x7 scope on it. From all the reports I have heard, this is a 300 yd rifle. It seems that it should have a scope on it to take advantage of that. But, then I got to thinking, how man...

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the Marlin in .308MX. I have one, but have yet to shoot it, but the many articles that I have read about it puts it as a solid 300yd game lever. All hunters that have used this round on game, (primarly deer,) have told of the flat trajectory and the instant k...
