Have a WWII era kukris given to me last summer. My fathers neighbor had a relative die who fought in the Burma theatre. They were going to throw some of his stuff away and my Dad recognized it for what it was and sent it to me. Don't even know the owners name but would love to know the blades story....

I have one of the newer versions. It is made to better tolerances in my opinion. I tried it with several brands of ammo and was going to take it back because it jammed, would not feed or extract, etc. Did some research that recommended only AA hulls. I have a 1959 32 Win Special 94. Very accurate with the RCBS bullet and fun to shoot. Somewhat unique, the 32 is an effective hunting round. Probably not significantly more power than a 30-30 but has a slight edge. Enjoy the history of the gun. My intention is to give mine to my grandson some day. Don

I hid my 45 ACP ricochet to the stomach from my wife for three days. She was an Air Force nurse with combat wound experience. When she finally saw it the pain really started.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.

3 years ago mine burst. Put off getting mild pain looked at for a month, though it was just a strain. The pain was everything they advertised it too be. Missed 6 weeks work from the infection.

Had to repair some equipment at a warehouse with thousands of barrels of whiskey in it. The smell was strong to say the least. My boss asked if I was ok. I told him "They tried to rescue me twice but I fought them off."

Went back the next day with my drill and a straw.

I was in Ft Lauderdale in 1979. The ship I was on pulled in during spring break. The local PD invited the Marines to a shooting match, complete with tv coverage. We shot our issue 45's, they used their raceguns. Then we switched and shot it over again. Had a real hoot. They had an American 180, show...

Blooded my Mod 71 last year. After shooting and cleaning up, a groundhog wandered out into the garden while I was talking to my brother in law. The only thing handy was a 348 Winchester. It didn't bounce off.Lots of fun.

I googled lanolin, bought a 6oz. bottle for little, mix it with 99% isopropyl alcohol, about 1 lanolin to 10 acohol. Shake and spray. Dries fast, works well. The bottle looks to last about 10,000 cases at least.

I checked the website "guns in movies", they ID it as a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. The character is "Crazy Earl", and show another shot of him running with the gun in his pack.
