I reload for the 32 Special !
Cast for it also !
I usually use XMP5744 with a charge of 20-22 grains . This has worked in the three 32's I had or still have !
I have a Ranch Dog test mold for the 323-170GC tha I run thru a .323" sizer and they work great with 5744 .
Also decent results wih the RCBS 32-170GC and the Lyman 321297 .

I reload cast for the 32 WS. The .323" is excellent for this cartridge. Enjoy.

I size my 170gr. RCBS bullets to .323 for my .32 Special 94`s and they shoot just great with them.

Did you get a new rifle or have you always had a 94 in .32WS?

load 1 or 2, see if they will chamber.
if so you are good to go.
i have one with a tight chamber, still fine tuning things to fit.

careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Re: ANYBODY RELOAD 32 WINCHESTER SPECIAL
I have experimented with .321, .322, and .323. The .322 is the most accurate but in one old octagon barreled '94 I had, the 323 was the most accurate. Even in the other rifles I tested, the .323's shot great and were only a smidgen less accurate than the .322 (like a half-to 1 in.---big deal)
The load that has worked in all of them has been 21 grains of 5744--same load that also works and gets used in my 30-30's and 38-55's --------Sixgun

No, but I turn .32 Special cases into (short) .32-40 cases, and reload the pulled .32 Spec. bullet! Shoots nicely out of my '93 Marlin.
I see no reason .323" cast bullets shouldn't work fine, provided they chamber.

170 RCBS FNGC (sized .323)/ 30 / H335 / primer of choice
This is a full snort factor energy load, that is very, very accurate and kills deer grave yard dead, when hit in the right place

I shoot Lever Action Silhoutte with this bullet in a Marlin 336a. 25 grains of 3031 very accurate, knocks 'em flat, doesnt kick very much at all.

I have shot 34.0 grs. of Varget with good accuracy. That is a little fast for cast bullets depending on the alloy. My favorite powder for the 32 is H-4895.You can reduce it or go for high end loads with it.
