OT LEO's book

Post by Rusty »

I found this and read in the portion of the sight where there is a portion on the book, the only time I have heard of an American 180 being used in the line of duty.

Very interesting...http://www.badge149.com/index.html

I was in Ft Lauderdale in 1979. The ship I was on pulled in during spring break. The local PD invited the Marines to a shooting match, complete with tv coverage. We shot our issue 45's, they used their raceguns. Then we switched and shot it over again. Had a real hoot.

They had an American 180, showed it too us but we didn't get the chance to shoot it. The detectives told a story about using it to stop a carload of bad guys. He said after a short burst there wasn't a piece of glass left on the vehicle.
