VERY VERY OT!! NRA birdhouses!!

Post by jnyork »

Yes, NRA birdhouses! :o :D

At a yardsale this morning I bought two M.L. Studtman signed and numbered birdhouses. These were purchased at the local Friends of the NRA banquet and feature the NRA logo on the roofs, they are made up to look like the fronts of old time gun shops with many cute little signs, etc. They are really quite nifty, not that I am an expert on birdhouses, they are in perfect condition. Seller's wife grumbled to me that seller had "paid too much for the dam things."

I have googled around a little and cant seem to find out very much about MR. Studtman except that there is some collector interest in his birdhouses, there is nothing on ebay that I can find.

Anyone have any knowledge of this guy, the birdhouses, or how the NRA got into the birdhouse business?

I thought he was just crowing about his purchase. Those Studman birdhouses are hard to find.
