MORE Elephants ! Elephants Attack!

Post by crs »

Check out this head line and news story from Uganda!

With the surplus of tens of thousands of elephants in multiple African countries, you would think the prices to shoot one (trophy fee) would be down around that for an Eland or Kudu.

Is this a surplus of pachyderms or a surplus of stupid people who don't believe in guns?

The villagers feasted on an elephant that was suffocated with chloroform??? Chloroform, come on, where's the big double rifle? Gosh almighty, I couldn't live in a sheeple infested country like that.

:o I think I would rather try the old .22 LR in the leg shot than try to suffocate one with chloroform!

That would be one wild ride while you held the rag over their nose/trunk!

reports are that Uganda will be open next year for safaris - first time since Idi Amin ruined the country. Maybe that will help control the rampaging pachyderms. :)

I don't want to be the one trying to chloroform the elephant, either. That sort of reminds me of a character played by Slim Pickens riding a rocket in the movie Dr. Strangelove.
