I bought a used Euroarms .357 1873 carbine in 1989. Never fired a factory .357 in it so I can't comment but my standard handload is 15 grains of 2400 under a 158gr LRNFP and I have fired over 20,000 through it without any problems at all.

Thanks for that Perry. Cannot understand all the misfires though. Main problem seemed to be bits of cap falling between the hammer and frame and stopping the hammer striking the next cap hard enough. With the CD in the drive click on "Start", then on "Computer" (or "My Computer" depending on the Windows version). The media drive should appear to have a disc in it - right click on it and click on "Open" and it should list all the files and folders on the CD...

When drilling cases to make practice rounds I first fill them with Cerrosafe chamber casting alloy. Melts out easily after drilling.
