Mine has nothing to do with guns or outdoors. It's simply a common Gold Dust Day Gecko, one of many hundreds that roam both inside and out at our Kailua, HI home. This one was setting on a leaf in the dining room and it made a perfect photo. I rotate pictures from time to time to make things interesting. :) Image

To grab a copy of the desktop just press Shift and PrtScn keys together. That will store the image on the clipboard and you can then paste it into photo editing software. Microsoft Paint will do ok and it comes free with most Microsoft operating systems - look under Accessories in the programme list. Once pasted you can save it as a .jpeg file and upload it to Photobucket.

Pete, the clock is one of the Gadgets that come with Windows 7.It updates from the internet, not the system clock. The ones below it display the temperature where I live and at my holiday home in Spain, the Euro/pound exchange rate and a calendar. All update automatically.

I have three computers I use, so I have three current 'backgrounds'.
I change them alot, but keep coming back to Howard Terpning's awesome paintings -
<link> = http://www.firstpeople.us/FP-Html-Pictu ... g_pg1.html.

Desktop - because it always seems like it's out to 'ambush' me and crash or something...
Image

Laptop - because I hope to do more 'ballistics' software on it someday...
Image

Office - because it fits the odd/wide screen better - my 'Night Scout Pair'...

The Emperor of Exmoor.

Was believed to be the largest living wild animal in Great Britain. Shot by a hunter sometime in... October?

I use it as a background to remind me how lucky we in the USA are to blessed with such vast wildlife resources.
