I like the Nosler 200 gr. RNJHP, behind Unique. The same bullet in 240 gr. is more accurate in my 92 Carbine, and WW296 powder in mag cases.

For an extra firm crimp with the 44WCF, I double crimp. Roll crimp first, then use the Lee FCD.
Just hope you never attempt to break one down if you make a mistake.

I like my Bond Derringer 45 snakeslayer, my usually carry is a 410 3" with # 5 shot in one barrel and a 45 Colt 250 gr. SWC with a proper amount of Unique. I have a custom belt slide that holds four extra 45's and one 410.

Works for me.

A new Breaker is needed.

I had a similar problem with my AC unit last year. The Compressor tried to start. I used my Digital VOM and got the proper voltage.
Replaced the Breaker and problem solved.
A loose connection will also cause the same symptom.

A 30 Remmy case is the same as a 25, you can neck down a 30 and ream the neck to the proper thickness.

BTW; the 25 Remmy was the least made chambering of the model 14/141 Rifles. In good shape they are worth more than the 30's & 35's.

Let me know how far the side plate goes after the links blow-out. Keep you head low as the Bolt part your hair.
May I suggest 5% instead of 10%. The 45-70 case is twice the volume of the 44WCF.
Either way I would not attempt this with my 73 44WCF. 92 yes, and maybe. 73 NO !

Take it down in steps. I would first use a 7X30 Waters die, down to 7MM. Then take it done to 25-35. Case length trimming and inside neck reaming will also be required. I use 50% Kroil & Hoppes, apply with a bore mop and let it soak. Repeat as many times as necessary till no more fouling appears on a patched jag. I let it soak over night, then clean out with a patch and repeat. My 1894 Krag , I thought it would never be clean from the 100 years or so of fouling...

The piece will never decrease in value, only increase. It's a Colt, shoot the piece and enjoy.
If it were a first generation I would still shoot the piece, only in moderation and only with black powder.

A new front sight might be required. I replaced my Handi front with a Williams 20 ga. shorty ramp and then measured for the proper sight insert. For the Rear I have a 1894 Krag sight.
Makes for a nice replacement sight package for the Handi.

Lovely 141/35, very nice. I had a 141/30 made in 1936 that was a tack driver with lead bullets. The barrel slugged at .3065".
I sold it to a Remington Collector that needed it for his collection.

30K PSI will blow up a Colt or Colt Clone. The New Frontier is just a Colt SAA with adjustable sights.
Stick with Colt loads & no Plus P loads.
Unique might be your best Powder, it works for me. I load both Lead & jacketed 250 gr. bullets with Unique.

My accuracy load for my Uberti 73 Carbine is 5.4 gr. of Unique behind a 200 gr. RNFP. Not a heavy hitter, but lights out at 100 yards.

Dropping a long bullet from a hot mold, not quite cooled enough for release will bend the shape. I had this happen casting some 500 gr 45-70's in a single cavity mold. I had to recast half the lot because of distortion.

I am having my 1860 Belgium Colt Centaure 44 C&B Revolver, converted to 45 Colt cartridge with a new cylinder.
The piece was made in 1959 in Belgium. Long before the Italian Clones.
I should have it sometime after the first of the Year.

You will need a tight over-powder wad of some sort. If this wad is not tight you will experience a POOF! and the shot will roll out the barrel.

#6 is my preference. Anything over #7 and you get a long shot string with the smaller guages.

The best, is to check your pattern and see what the piece is throwing, and at what distance.
