Any day you can shoot a bunch of .45 Colt loads is a real good day.

Now you need a Bond Derringer in 45 Colt/410, to go with your 45 pair.

I bought one a few months back. They are a handful to shoot.

Can you mic the bores and cylinders and post the results?

I had an Uberti 357 and it was terrible. .359 cylinder throat and a .355/.359 bore. Not accurate past 20 yards.

2013 Uberti Cattleman SAA (5.5" bbl) 45Colt: Cylinders at throat - all six measured .455", barrel at muzzle - .451"

THat is about what I recall. For some reason, the throat for the .357 is well over sized, where the grooves are just where they should be, perhaps a little tight. Meanwhile, a .455 cylinder throat on a .45 is just about right for a lead round.

This is why, I think, I have heard good things about the Uberti Cattleman .45, but my experience with the .357 was not as good.

On the other hand, I have not heard what the measurements are for the Pietta .357. I hAVE heard that the Ruger .357s are very well machined.
