A few weeks ago when I got my S&W 686+, I decided that gun was worthy of a custom holster. It's a gun I'd always wanted ever since I'd been shooting and I finally got one. So, it was time to figure out what holster I wanted. I'd read lots about the Simply Rugged holsters and never heard a bad th...

While I'd highly recommend the Henry, if you just want to try something the Mossberg 702 Plinkster is a good way to go. They are cheap and reliable, and actually pretty good shooters.

My wife and I were at Walmart a few days ago, and I always hit the $5 dvd bin. Right on top was season 1 of "Wanted: Dead or Alive". Well worth the money! There's just something about tv westerns that seems to take me back to when life was a little simpler

Re: Bulk .22 shortage seems to be easing up a little
it's been easing up around here. Over a couple of trips I've cleaned out my WM of .22LR. I was doing well there on .40SW until I traded my pistol, but I'm going to trade my stock of that for a bunch of .30-30 (there's nothing like plinking with a Winchester 94). I just wish they had some .38Spl. The...

if I could only have one, it's likely that the poopy has hit the fan, and I'm going with a 12 gauge pump with a folding stock. I've got my dad's old Red Ryder, I'm guessing it's 65-70 years old. It works, although you can watch the bb launch out and hit the ground about 5' away. Still, there's some history there. I'd love to get a new one just for kicks & giggles.

I used to collect MN rifles and they are always fun to shoot. I never quite knew what I was getting into, though...I bought one at a gunshow that had an absolutely pristine bore, and it shot "ok". I had another one that didn't look good at all and it was a tackdriver. I ended up moving on ...
