Perfect Ammo-Wallet Idea For .243 /.308

Post by cshold »

I for one do not like ammo. free floating around in my
pockets while out hunting for obvious reasons. (noise for one)
Came across my old leather business card holder the other day.
Light bulb in the old noggin went on. 8 rounds of .243 or .308
are a perfect fit.

thats kewl, you carried alot of business cards. loose ammo is a burden. I've tried speed strips and belts and such. I'm currently looking for sliders to hanle a hand full of ammo. This was a good idea on your behalf.

Those should be easy to track down too, If you and another one it looks like it was made by Wenger, one of the official Swiss Army knife makers.

Rusty: Yes it is made by Wenger.

LOL no Mike, someone thought I did or should (gift) used
it as an extra wallet for awhile. Now it's going to get used
for a much higher calling. :D

Good idea. I couldn't use a business card holder for a wallet as I couldn't get more than my driver's license, commission card, and a couple other things and it'd be maxed out.

pretty slick! I've been looking for an easy way to carry a speed strip for my .38 but didn't want to put anything on my belt...I think I've got an old wallet that will work just right :)

I have an MTM Caseguard ammo wallet that holds nine rounds of 30-30. It is a nice thing to have. They make them for all rounds and they are pretty cheap. Midway sells them.

The leather Zippo belt pouch holds four 30/30 perfectly.
