Re: Need some Electrical Advice--Help Please.
You have an open neutral. As previously stated the motors are 120 volt single phase and the element is the only device onboard that is 240 volt. Check the neutral connection back to the main service panel. Did the electrician measure from phase to neutral at the dryer? Single phase power problems re...

Re: RANGE REPORT: H&R .357 Mag Handi-Rifle & a QUESTION?
For what it is worth I have never seen that Blazer 158 grain 357 faster than 1050 fps in a 6-1/2 inch revolver. It feels like a hard shooting 38 to me. So that 1255 fps or whatever is says on the box is not what the round is doing. With that said a full power round might just bring down the POI. Bob

Since you are on a hike. I would have a rifle/carbine/shotgun on my pack or slung over my back with my hands free to grab my pistol to mitigate the hazard until I can get the rifle off. Here is a not so inexpensive one. You will get used to the flash to a point that you don't even notice it at all. Sharp flint, correctly hardened frizzen, open touch hole, and dry prime and it will always fire. Bob http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k153/Bergoobob/C2FA1202-55C2-4EBC-939C-CA0269706287...

All I require my leverguns as far as accuracy is that each bullet hits inside of whatever the front sight subtends at any reasonable hunting distance.
