Where did I read Henry was going to make a real Henry?

Read it somewhere a few days ago. Or would they be importing an Uberti. Or would they be importing Uberti parts and making the Henry here? Or is it just an Internet Rumor?

The Henry Prexy released an announcement at the end of last Summer that they would be producing "The Henry Model 1860", starting the 1st week of Dec, 2012 - but Hurricane Sandy put paid to that @ the end of October, flooding out the factory.

The Henry factory, in Bayonne NJ, just finished rehab in January 2013, and is busy trying to fill the order pipeline at this time.

AFAIK, they still intend to produce the Model 1860, but IDK exactly when.

More sadly, I don't think they are missing much business as we get little interest in leverguns. Military, "high" capacity magazines and the guns that use them, "assault" rifles, heck MILITARY rifles, ball ammo for the rifles and the big three in pistol ammo, 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP are the things people want. Only recently has that expanded to .22 LR but that went out the door in a hurry once that took off. NOW, people are inquiring as to availability of CASE lots of other ammunition such as .30-30, .44 Magnum, even 7mm-08.
