Re: Prayers up in advance of the tornadoes
I ask for prayers for the people of IA, Woodward, OK and Wichita and Salina, KS areas that were affected by the storms. I also give thanks to God that the injury, fatality and property damage was as low as it is because it could have been much worse. Both the Boeing and Spirit plants and a mobile ho...

My retired remmy 550-1 is very accurate and looks good too but the real tack drivers are my .22lr Henry accu bolt and long distance .22wmr accu bolts both with 3-9 X 40 bushnell scopes. My Henry Golden boy .22.lr is a great shooter too. And my Marlin model 60ss with a fixed 4x scope and my Marlin 79...

Due to whats supported in my area the Hornyday and the Rock Chucker systems are the two front runner systems now. Does anyone have any comments on the Lock and Load system, is it really a time saver, how often do you have to reset your dies or make adjustments with it?

I like my SR9c real well. I ordered an extra 17 round magazine and sleeve from Ruger for it, which should arrive tomorrow. I went with the Ruger SR9C in stainless steel finish. This gun has lots of features including a real safety, is ambiodexous (sp) is very compact but still will hold 18 rounds with one in the pipe and is reliable. I have fed it all kinds of ammo and have not had a single hiccup. With an extra 17 roun...

Re: Henry Arms 30/30--opinions..?
It depends on what you want to do with the rifle. The heavy weight is not good for carrying through the brush all day and gives the gun more inertia to make it slower to mount and swing but it also reduces recoil and helps steady the aim. In my opionion you cannot go wrong with a Henry. 8) If you ca...
