Blessed Christmas Present

Post by Canuck Bob »

I have just found out that I am in remission following my bone marrow transplant for cancer. You all were so supportive in my early days of dealing with the diagnosis so I thought it was right to share the good news too. My Doctor's unofficial prognosis is, "your going to die from something but it won't be bone marrow cancer". I like this guy's style and have been in great hands in the clinic and in spirit.

Thank you all.

Thank God.

Now I can relax and spend some time and money on tuning up my lever actions and learning to cast bullets for them. I must admit to some disloyalty though. My little Jungle Carbine No.5 might get some time too. Forgive me for having an awkward side grabber in my safe. If your going to have one it might as well be the best.

That's great news, Bob! But if you're going to give the jungle carbine some play, it's only right that you give us a picture. Maybe group it in with a lever or two so we can see that they look like they are happy together :D
