Re: Dog or wolf track
Easiest way to tell a wolf track from a coyote is that wolf tracks are farther apart, side to side. In other words, coyote tracks are more in a straight, linear line, while wolf tracks have more width.

I agree with what you're saying, Malamute. But, a lot of people that go woods tromping don't have a clue when it comes to the difference between a black bear and a grizzly, let alone a bluff charge or real one. And, me personally, will not be carrying a 45 ACP in known bear country. So.... what you...

Stainless/laminated/takedown in .325 WSM, shooting Barnes 200 grain TSX handloads. Good for anything on the continent. Amazingly accurate, despite the trigger. Re: ON TOPIC!!!! Browning BLR
The BLR is a fine rifle and I especially like the old steel receiver guns. I think a low powered variable looks the best atop the short BLR action and a 1-4x20 Leupold (on my BLR/.358) or even a 1-3x20 V3 Weaver would make a nice set-up for that rifle. I also think a gloss finish scope looks a bit b...

I know there are still a lot of fans of this modern lever action from Winchester. Of the two, I'd go for the 338 because it's the flattest shooting of the two and that's what you're buying it for anyway. In addition, it's a rimmed case developed specifically for a levergun so I'd guess that it would be easier extracting in that action. :?: Not quite sure what you're trying to sa...

There are surely pros and cons for either type of action, as with most others. The semi-auto allows for softer recoil and the fastest additio...
