Hog hunt

Post by edsguns »

Leaving day after tomorrow on a hog hunt in Ga. We shot some really big hogs last year (fair chase) and are anxious to be back and hunt so more. My first thought was an all-Marlin hunt; .444, 45-70 and .356. I'm now thinking about maybe substituting an old BAR GRII '06 for the .356.

What says you? Am I not being fair to that 336ER? It could rain.... should that ER be out in the rain?

I'd take the ER. A little rain ain't going to hurt so long as you care for it afterwards. The last hog I killed was with my ER.

Good luck on the hunt!
