Very nice! Did you slim down that forearm or did that one escape the factory that way? That's a graceful looking Marlin, and it looks like it's just waiting to be fired. Have you tried any cast 200 gr bullets through it yet?

The forearm came that way. I was waiting to get the scope mounted before I shot it. I have some 180 grain Speer commerical ammo and some 200 grain Core-Lokts.

nice! with the leverevoultions and buffaloebore ammo's the 35 becomes a whole new cartridge for the non-reloader. even with the tried and true 200gr. corelocts, ain't no flies on it for close work on north american game. mossberg needs to chamber it in it's 94 rippoff. 8)

Very nice set up you have there. Not having any experience with the Bushnell 3200, how do they hold up in the long run? i have the same set up but with the Leupold VX-1. Have over 2500 rds. fired with this scope and no trouble of any kind.

Wasn't the Bushnell 3200 once the Bausch & Lomb Elite 3000 before Bushnell bought them out? If so, one of my brothers has one on a 30-06 Model 70, and it's never needed re-zeroing since 1988. His is a great scope.

I own several Elite 3200s and I believe 4 of them are 2-7x32s. Mounted on rifles like Ruger 77 in .358, model 673 in .300 SAUM, model Seven in 7mmSAUM and model 673 in 6.5 RM and have had zero problems. It's an excellent scope at the typical price of 175-$200 and a steal at $139.! 8)

I've had great luck with the Bushnell 3200 Elites they used to be the B&L 3000. The eye relief is a little short for real hard kickers.

I have used an old belt with my name on it several times in the past.
This last one is kind'a stiff but carries well . Name of the game is "I Like It " .

I finally got to the range yesterday. The weather was horrible but it's was shooting 3/4" groups at 50 yards with the 180 grain Speer. The range closed before we could shoot at 100 yards. The scope adjustments tracked perfectly.

With that brand new carrying handle on top I think you can just leave that sling at home, unless you're gonna use it for a game tow.
