The Gun will chamber an empty case albeit the last 3/4 inch is tight and hard to close the Bolt, then it extracts fine and easy to rechamber. The top punch is a #449 for lyman 379 rnfp. @ Ray Newman, I was on a roll and the bullets were dropping like flys. They looked good to the naked eye so I kept going. I had no idea that I had cast so many until I counted. Now they will all have to be melted back down because I don't think I can sort ...

OK loong day, I will try to bring U up to speed. Checked out the Lyman sizer first, the top punch fits pretty good- no slop. I messed with the sizer quite a bit before deciding that wasn't the problem. I then turned My attention to the bullet. They measured 379 in places and as low as 365 in others ...

A good pan lube is bees wax/vasoline andna touch of parrafin. It makes a SPG copy. I dont know the ratios at the moment but a google search should find it. First thing I am going to check is to see how much play that top punch has before tightening and try to see if there is any runout. The first 2 suggestions seem logical to Me. I didn't have as much trouble pushing the 383 bullets thru the Die as I do with the 379s. If the Lubrasizer isn't completely...

Thx Chuck, I'll give that a try. I'm not even sure it is the right punch for that bullet. I bought the top punch for the 383s but they are close in design.

Inexpensive was the route for Me. I am well pleased with My CVA squirrel rifle 32cal. Never cared much for Flinters but to each His own. I now have 32 & 45 rifles and a 44 Pistol. Don't plan on any more but Who knows, they might be like Leverguns- if one comes along at the right price !

Ok Pilot, pulled the 94 AE / 45 colt out again today. From Urs , newpighunters and Mine they seem to be dribblers. :lol: Not sure this is the way it is supposed to be but it is. I looked at My Win trapper -45 colt and it looks just like Urs. U said it looks new and unfired, hard to imagine needing parts on a new Gun. Is Ur extractor riding all the way over the rim ? If not that would explain a dribble, nothing to hold it for the ejection.

No, not normal but it happens a lot. Take this Rossi 92 I just picked up. Sometimes the lifter pops right up and sometimes it requires a little extra effort. How hard are U working the lever, sounds like Ur being too gentle. Some carriers won't snap unless a little force is used. Follow completely through with the lever and all the way forward.
Is part of that last round still in the mag tube ?

Welcome to the forum. Is the last round coming out of the mag tube. When U say eject I'm thinking from the chamber. I seriously doubt Ur mag spring is weak from age. U will get some more welcomes and tips and pointers.

Yep, Hunting License. Last one I had was about 1990. I think then it was close to 50 bucks, no telling how much it is now. First U buy alicense then a tag or stamp for anything U want to hunt. It can get pricey. Getting My Rump over would be a monumental task.

Thx Griff, I have a short starter but it is for 50 cal. Now that loading block looks like a great idea, especially for 32 cal. I can see that this might be as bad as Levergunitis. :lol:

Perry that little 32 should make a real fine rabbit gun. Well it is about to get tested. I saw the Neighbors Rabbit in My Garden today. Of course there is nothing He can hurt right now buuut !
