I don't get to excited over post counts nor pay much attention to them.

I'm actually more likely to look at The join date.

I think it would have been neat if our join dates from the old forum
would've carried over to this new forum (well not so new anymore :))

Hmmm-- I cant believe I'm closing in on 2500 myself

.30 WCF, just hang in there --- when I hit 2000 posts, the moderators all flew out to Oklahoma, as did John Taffin and Mike Venturino, who emceed' my 2000 post party
There were lectures on packin' pistols, reloading vintage cartridges, and later the floors were cleared, music turned up, and the ladies started filing in , straight off their shift's at Hooters and other establishments while we regaled them with stories of levergun supremacy and danced the night away !
There wasn't a $7 dollar bottle of wine or a well drink in the house --- all top shelf stuff too. The bartender had pics of his best 500 yard groups (made with his lowwall) posted above the bar

So if you haven't got the notice yet , don't worry, its comin ! :)

+1! And don't let that Street star guy bs ya... that party thing don't happen till you hit 10K posts... but that's a secret... And, MV doesn't mcee the event... he's far too shy a public speaker... you get 86er, who actually smiles at ya! But, not to worry, MV and John Taffin are there to learn all you can teach 'em!

But... I'm still waiting for mine... something about scheduling....
