With the right ammo they all are reliable. You might get in trouble shooting .38 in a .357 and .44 special in a .44 mag.

The first thing I would do is buy a replacement and work with that and stash the original! A good metal worker could cut and weld in extra metal and form it. When it is to your likeing get a gunsmith to reblue it.

Someone sent me those pictures, and more too. The bear even flattend both main tires. The pilot radioed another plane to bring him some plastic sheets, cases of duct tape and two new tires, and flew it out!

I also own this old bad redone colt in .32 wcf. It shoots nice but seems to weigh about twice what the ruger does. I bought # 2359216 new in I THOUGHT 1956 give or take a year. Yet the info I found on several sources tell me it was made in 1958! I dont think those numbers are gospel!

After dad died I thought I would change out the old batterys he had in some defunct flashlights that he kept in his assisted liveing room. They were full of quarters! I knew a guy that found gold coins in a old house by unscrewing those big wood balls off a hollowed out stair rails.

I used to live in the area and knew it pretty well. You would have to get on top a tall building and compare the mountain ranges with the picture in the background. Today that area is solid city! Somewhere I have a similar picture of my great great grandpa`s farm in wisconsin with about 15 guys with a steam engine. He was in the civil war and died in 1906, so I belive the picture was in the late 1880s or 1890s.

That was great! I worked as a security guard for lockheed 1965 to 2000. I guarded the SR-71 countless hours, saw it fly about every time, knew the pilots and watching that was as close as you could get to the real deal! I have great respect for that builder-flyier.
