OK, first off this is not a lever gun but an H&R 088 12g shotgun that I aquired not to long ago. It was a bit rusty so I decided to finally take it apart an derust it. I was thinking, 'to bad you just didn't buy a barrel of the length you wanted and then had the old barrel to either keep with the gun just in case you ever wanted to put the long barrel back on or a barrel to sell'.
