I was wondering if anybody knew where a fellow could look to see how Winchester had cataloged their rifles on their shipping boxs for the last 70 years and if they know if the catalog number covered specific builds or if they covered an array of builds?
Did the google thing and got all kinds of answers that weren't what I was looking for. Figured someone on here would know. Thanks SnR

I know Winchester did so for the Model 52 rimfires, because they're listed in Houze's book (Perfection in Design) - but I've never seen any reference for such, regarding Model 1894 or Model 94's.
