The chamber is tighter also. The throat seems short because it's spec'd closer than marlins.

Did you full length resize? This can make a difference in the Miroku chambers.

Also, the ogive may be too fat. The shape of Marshall's 325, 425, and 525g cast is perfect for all the repeaters.

However, I shot Blaine's Winchester XtraLight and I gotta tell you that's a fine rifle, and I didn't notice any problems with the rebounding hammer. We were hitting steel at about 150 yards no problem. It'll do.
