I understand what your saying Hobie. However, I was referring more along the lines of what is in store for the anti-Christ.

I got that but he isn't the anti-christ, his dupe or unwitting servant maybe, but not THE anti-christ.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

It's hard to even figure how an inexperienced guy like Obama, an inexperienced woman like Hillary, a dud like Edwards, actually rose to the top of their party to run for president. And likewise the Repubs simply having no real outwardly inspiring, confidence building, competent person to step up to the plate. Lots of smart folks in Govt., but no leader that can make a difference. Meanwhile today, I paid 3.60 for a gallon of diesel, and lubricating oil is going up another .40 a gallon all over the country next month, a mere 22.00 a drum more. Oh well, Im glad Obama isn't in office today at least.

It's because if you've been in politics more than a couple of years your closets too full to be a viable candidate. They all make deals with the devil. I think we should throw them all out after their first term and start over. People would know they'd have to get stuff done within those four years. Benjamin Franklin knew it way back then and said so.

I think that we should let them live it up while they are in office and doing their job, and once they are defeated in a fair election, run 'em through a wood-chipper.

The ones who just quit or decide to retire should be required to spend a week chained in a public square with a pile of stones available for public use. If they can walk away, leave 'em be.

:)

i'd like to hear exactly what CHANGE means, before i consider him as a candidate. sorry to say, our next president will either be him or hillary. the bush administration has alienenated the vast majority of american voters. he's to connected to corporate america, including the military complex. i don't feel , because of this, that mcCain has any chance, he'll lose in a landslide to eithier dem candidates. time to consider the lesser of two evils between the dems. which one is it?

I have friends in a lot of different places, republicans, who have registered dem for the first time in their lives to vote for him in the primaries. They're not voting for him because they "believe" or anything else, just figure he will be easier to beat than She-zilla. Makes me wonder a bit when you hear how many of the republican primaries are down in voter turn out and the dems are up by similar margins. Either they are crossing over because they do believe or to sabatoge the Dems. I hope that it is the 2nd. Because if it ain't then we are goin be in a world o'hurt come next spring!

on the local talk radio today, the conservative host was urging repups. to cross over and vote for hillary in states where it is permitted. hard to imagine a more villified pollitician on talk radio than hilliary. she,s been demonized more than hitler, bil lauden, and stallin put together. the host wanted to expend the dnc funding by furthering the primaries. it seems to me this guy might just win. not the outcome i wish for, but i'll say it again, looks like him or her. which should i fear more?

tman... Many, many Republicans voted in the Texas Democrat primary yesterday for Hillary because they are scared of Obama and this growing Obamamania. He appears to be all charm and no substance, and nobody knows who he really is or what he really stand for other than some vague "Change". He is mostly smoke, mirrors, chewing gun and wire.

We will vote Republican in the General election, but if we had to have a Democrat president, better Hillary than Obama.. "The devil you know, is better than the devil you don't know."

We are seeing the meeting up of two schools of "thought," and I use that term loosely, where there is enough cross over and shared interests that the two often appear as one: that of Liberalism and the New Age movement. Oprah is a New Ager whether she admits or not, and has a tremendous influence on Women who look on her as a sort of god. If she says she likes a book then millions and millions of folks will scramble out and buy it because she said it was good. These folks have replaced real truth with vague, fuzzy, feel good notions which a non critically thinking public gobbles up as fast as they are put out. Match up these New Age folks that hold that there is not one real truth with the hardcore Socialist Left and you have a match made in Hell, and one heck of a voting block. :?

"Is Obama the Messiah?"

-If by running strictly on a buzzword and winning, maybe so.

His record is spotty and lacks any 2nd ammendment support, and he seems to have the welfare votes.

Glad to see the Dems ripped down the middle like this. The Homos want Hillary, because she is one, and the moochers want the Black Guy.

Everyone else wants a moderate.

My useless prediction: McCain by 20% when all is said and done.

Mr. Cash, once again we agree, but I simply do not think they outnumber us. The same "red staters" who put Bush in office will kick either Obama or Hillary to the curb - or should I say BOTH - we all know they'll share the Damnocrat ticket in the end!

thanks for the answers. i've never seen voter's turn out in these number's , especially in the primaries. these people are voting democratic. i know its too early to panic, but out of the three front runner's, i don't see what all the excitements about. looks like more of the same with mcclain as u had had with bush. i think we know pretty much whats hilliary is about. obahama seems to be a more liberal version of her. dosent look good for the next 4 years whoever wins.
