I cannot speak to the availability of levers (my Cabelas always has several in stock) but I DO know that .30-30 ammunition is like hen's teeth, lately.

I know the Henry's are decent rifles. My question was more directed at the value of the gun, given the condition, versus what they were asking for it.

I was considering using my uncle's Sabatti 20 gauge, in lieu of my 11-87, but I thought it would be too tough on such a nice gun....now I know better.

I see these all the time at the OGCA shows. Anywhere from $100 to $160 (with a nice scope and in great shape) is the going rate.

I have been looking at one of those Glenfields for quite a while as a fun plinker for my kids. Can't argue with an 18 round mag and that price point....

Well, they caught them!
