All Glocks should be the same process to takedown 1. Remove magazine 2. Rack slide and empty chamber. 3. Rack slide and confirm chamber is empty. Release to full battery position. 4. Pull trigger. 5. Retract slide about 1/2 to 3/4 inch and pull down both take down tabs, just forward of the trigger g...

Re: A Noisy Wheel Gets The Grease (publicity)- Rossi Q.C.
I got an excellent Braztech Rossi from a fellow levergunner here at the campfire and I am very happy with the rifle. Great build quality and no issues, thus far. The double revolvers have excellent triggers, so it is unfortunate to hear about the QC issues for Rossi. I would not paint with such broa...

I cannot speak to the availability of levers (my Cabelas always has several in stock) but I DO know that .30-30 ammunition is like hen's teeth, lately.
I have no idea what that is all about, but it sucks....

Re: WWYD - Looking for opinions
Thanks for the information, Hagler, but I am still a bit fuzzy on the implication.
I know the Henry's are decent rifles. My question was more directed at the value of the gun, given the condition, versus what they were asking for it.
Thanks.

So, I am cruising the LGS used rack and I spy a used Henry in .22LR It is the standard H001 and has been used, for sure. Receiver paint showed signed of use, chipped, the wood was decent, and the action seemed fine. The mag tube had a spot of rust on the OUTSIDE of the tube, about 5-7" forward ...

I was considering using my uncle's Sabatti 20 gauge, in lieu of my 11-87, but I thought it would be too tough on such a nice gun....now I know better.
Those are beautiful guns and sounds like it was a great day. Congratulations!

I've been a fan of pistol caliber lever guns for a long time. This winter I bought a M-92 in .357 Magnum. I was astounded at how much better this rifle cycled than my Marlin 1894. I see these all the time at the OGCA shows. Anywhere from $100 to $160 (with a nice scope and in great shape) is the going rate.
I have been looking at one of those Glenfields for quite a while as a fun plinker for my kids. Can't argue with an 18 round mag and that price point....
