I have had to have every cylinder throat reamed on every Blackhawk I've got, makes a world of difference. Always thought I was just a bad shot. Turns out I still am, just not as bad, lol. I'll be picking up an OM 45 Thursday, 7 1/2' barrel.

get yourself some TrailBoss powder, 4.5 grs under a cast 200 grn bullet is very accurate and easy on shooter and guns, and fills the case little over half.

I just bought an OM Blackhawk in .357 on Gunbroker for just under $500. Gun is Mint except for some scratches on trigger guard. I know that .41 mags will go for more than .357 because there were less made.

Looks like maybe the hammer may have been cut down a bit? I have read several times that alot of the 73's got the hammers cut down because they stuck out and caught on things, easy fix I guess.
