I was stationed at Fort Riley KS for almost 4 years and stayed in Junction City for a year after I got out.
NEVER saw a tornado. Dumb luck. Storms are fierce out that way, Stay safe!

Last week on the way to work during a fairly heavy snow I saw 3 Bobcats crossing my road.
What impressive cats :D I had never seen a single cat in all my time in the woods. Quite a treat.

I'm in the north woods of Wisconsin. 26 below last night (4th night in a row of 20+ below) but we have a heat wave coming. Could be in the 20s in a day to so. Lake Michigan kept it relatively warm here as I'm only 10 miles from there. The coldest it got where I'm at is about -5,
inland is a different story. The big lake does the same in summer, keeps it cool.

These days even the lower tier computers will get the job done as far as basic computing goes. I'm no fan of Windows 8 because it seems to be an OS designed for touch screen devices though Microsoft is going to restore the start button in a fix this fall. 3 or 4 parts of water to 1 part molasses works magic on rust. I used this method to
