I was really bad when I was growing up. My favorite reactive target then, and now, was/is glass bottles. Very satisfying to see them explode. Not exactly environmentally safe. The old fence posts by the railroad tracks where we would shoot ended up with piles of broken glass knee deep around each! :D

The only Officer-size 1911 I've ever owned was a Para-Ordnance P12.45. Same barrel length, but a wide-body (double stack) .45 ACP holding 12 rounds in a standard magazine. Mine was made in Canada, and a very reliable one. I've qualified with it several times. I can't speak to the genuine Colts though.
