For something different, Brass Fetcher did an interesting test on some modified .32 ammo. It gave improved terminal ballistics over unmodified factory ammo.

Somewhere around 1957, I had a chrome, roll cap "Peacemaker" with faux ivory grips. Coincidentally, today I stopped at the LGS after work and looked at a stainless Ruger Vaquero in 45 with... faux ivory grips. :lol:

Unique is cleaner burning than it used to be. I like it better than 231 because of its bulk. 38's tend to be erratic in my carbines unless I point the muzzle up before firing a round. When I took my wife shooting for the first time ever, she did this with my Marlin 1894C with the first three rounds. You should see her 7 yard 9mm pistol target. All ten were in the black. My Blackhawk in .357 with a friend. I installed a Wolf spring kit and a set of Pachmayr black rubber grips. It is very accurate with the Hornady LeverEvolution 357 ammo.
