I wanted to get more active on the site, but have no topic to discuss, so I have a video.
300 Yard 30-30 Confirmation
I had missed with my last few 400 yard shots and was confirming my windage was correct at 400 yards. I would think windage is perfect.
I took those shots off a fence using a Winchester 94ae with a BSA Deerhunter scope. The load is using a 150gr FMJ, loaded singly directly into the chamber.
Tomorrow I'll try 400 again, this time I'll concentrate on the fundamentals.
Oh, and instead of using the round 7 inch target, I'll use the 8 inch square target... if this 7 inch target had corners, I'd have hit it!

Heck, I wouldn't let that bother you, doesn't seem to slow the rest of them down a bit.

I took 2 shots...
Win94ae, 400 Yards, 8 Inch Target
I concentrated on wind estimation and compensation; it being a bit breezy with variable direction, it was a bit tricky. But I did good windage wise with both shots.
Next time It'll be a "one shot, one kill."
Thanks for the compliments!

Looked at some of your other videos.
Dang, you are a shooter.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Thank you! I try to be as proficient as possible with all the firearms I own. I still need more practice with my 1911 and 44 New Model Army replica.
Thanks again!

Fake video. Everybody knows 30-30 stops at 100 yards.
Very nice. I can only hope to aspire to that!

Thanks again everyone!
Good thing I started shooting it beyond 200 yards before people told me it was impossible.
