I like the photo essay.

IMO, the issue most 'unsettling' is that anyone thinks that a woman (or anyone) with a gun is a big deal.

Whose preconceptions...? I kind of thought the 'maternal role' was to nurture and protect children; wouldn't proficiency in protecting them include confidence with firearms...?

G.R.I.T.S.-----that's Girls Raised In The South------these are at my backyard shooting range getting in a little practice. These ladies are my daughter, niece, and nephew's wife. They are all teachers, and they all have Georgia Weapons License and practice regularly.

"Unsettling" only to those with low IQ's and the left (I know, I'm being redundant), since it means fewer women are buying their myth that it is better to be defenseless and simply accept assaults...

When I took my wife shooting for the first time ever, she did this with my Marlin 1894C with the first three rounds. You should see her 7 yard 9mm pistol target. All ten were in the black.

Do you have any idea how many years it took ME to get that good???

You got that right, but she is finding it harder since she had her third boy (my fifth grandchild) last November, and there is no way I could fold myself up like that
