Re: Gun Shops in Paris - France

People forget that France was the leader in arms development in many cases for centuries. Maybe not centuries, but there were a few isolated instances...like the Gras vs. the Dreyse Needle Gun of the Prussians. The 8mm Lebel...first smokeless, high velocity, small caliber. But then, for all their i...

Notice since the "Old man" and the kids are gone they are actually making guns that people want to buy? I don't think "no one needs more then 10 rounds" Bill would have ever let them make an AR type rifle, a scout type rifle or the LCP pistol. A changing of the guard is not alwa...

Sold mine without ever firing it! Got the R1 in trade for another gun, then had an offer before I ever even shot it.

Thinking about buying one brand new too, but after playing with a Ruger SR45, believe I might go that way.

Replaced the stock back ten year ago or so, Numrich Arms had a new one for like $30.

Bag the stock when you shoot from the bench. You would be surprised as to how much energy is absorbed by the 2# weight of the bag. I used to place a shot bag on top of the wrist, behind the bolt allowing for full use of the sights/scope for my kids. They learned to never having to blink due to recoil.
