Why do folks continue to flog a dead horse by piddling around at a crippled forum, instead of coming over here?

I'm with you Paul. I'm glad someone cleaned all the spam that gathered after we left off in April. The moderator had a ton to clean out.
It is getting aggravating having to wade through the single posts. All we're doing over there now is: making the repairs harder and just cluttering up. We got by after the crash, we'll get through this. In the meantime, the other is still there to search(by google) and read. Just log into this one for new posts. We'll test this one's capabilities

And thanks KirkD for that mesage. We've been swamped at work & home and I just had a real chance to log on LeverGuns.

I just found out, so count me in.
Here's a funny: the wife has had me bustin' my hump out in the yard for the last two days. For the final task, she said, "How about the shooting range?"
"What about it?" (PLease don't ask me to pick up brass...)
"Go clean up your shot up cans."

I've also posted the link here several times. Much easier than mucking about at "home"!

Well, I am finally here, too. I, also, am a little slow on the uptake. And I also have a mind like a steel trap. However, unlike you (Rusty), I am of an age that my steel trap is a little rusty! Does that leave us head to head?

Now you know that you'll have to post pictures when it comes in... then a range report... Just to whet your whistle, here's a pic of my frontstuffer in action:CraigC wrote:Present and accounted for. Ordered my new Lyman Great Plains .54 frontstuffer and all the goodies that go with it.
It's threatening to cool off a little, time to do some shootin'!

It is taking both JimT and me some real time on the delete key to bring the number of topics down to where the software doesn't choke. So far I've killed all the old POLITICS posts and am working on the outdated FS, WTT, WTB posts. Glad I kept to the right protocol to find them easily. I think Jim is working through the OT posts.Pete44ru wrote:I was virtually shut out of the other forum except for creating a new topic - but tonight everything there seems in order - So I'd say you're making some good progress, Hobie !

Me? I just hold the keys. The http://www.sixshootercommunity.com folks own the place. In other words, I just work here too. And draw the same salary as Hobie, by the way.

And great pay it is, right Paul? I mean, there's some great folks here. I've had a "blast"!AmBraCol wrote:Hobie wrote:Paul is really the one responsible for this site. Just got curious as to what my very first forum post was when this newcasastahle wrote:"IF YOU BUILT IT THEY WILL COME"
