Maybe they have enough tin to be useful for alloying your own bullet metal? For years I have been using pure lead and alloying it with 50/50 lead/tin solder to get either 20:1 or 30:1 bullet metal but haven't been able to buy bar solder from the plumbing supply houses here. I remember as a kid (9 I think) dry firing my 22 and then getting cases that hung up in the chamber. Rimfires, some of them, will dent the edge of the chamber and cause difficult extraction. Properly regulated, the firing pin should not touch the barrel face but on many old 22s they do. The snap cap...

This Colt SAA was manufactured in 1899. The rampant Colt stamp was always applied very lightly and disappears early. In 1890 they dropped the etched panel on the bbl and started the roll mark this gun should have. "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" is caliber mark and means 44 WCF or 44-40. All s...

Why not just buy some spray-on case lube? I spread out about a hundred cases on an old 5 gallon bucket lid, spritz them and then just start loading. What's so tough about that? You can catch Midway's on sale for about 3 bucks and it will do several thousand.
