Didn't get to see any of the moon in person, but I did get to see the launch of Skylab from Cocoa Beach. A lot more thrust than the space shuttle 7.6 million lbs of thrust verses 4.4 for the shuttle..

A few months back a buddy of mine picked up a new Leupold spoter and made me a heck of a deal on his old Baush and Laumb. He was upset when we went to the range and the B &L was better at 100 yards and better. The Leupold was better at 50 and under though. 8)

Out of all the 4 digs and atvs I have had, the Suzuki Samurai was the best. No power house, but got me every where I needed to go, and got 30 mpg getting me there.

The thing that gets me is the way they package parts. If they made parts out of the same stuff they plastic wrap them in, the parts would last a lot longer. I have broken heavy duty truck parts taking them out of that bullet proof stuff they wrap them in.

It can make a big difference in pressure. Look for signs. Also if you are talking about the flex tip bullets, in most loads Hornady shortens the case a bit.

I had a standard poodle. Worked him on Rabbits, Squirrel, and dove. Never let me down untell he got to old to see. And even then he didn't do all that bad on retrieving.

Great to see youngsters shooting! But ya saftey glasses are a must. I have had rim fire cases blow out, no harm but might have been. Also when she is droping the hammer she is smacking 2 100 year old pieces of steel together. Not likey to cause an issue but one tiny steel ship could do damage to you...

When I was a youngster I could go hunting with an open sighted 30-30 or my Bear recurve wearing blue jeans, and a red plaid jacket and have prety good success hunting whitetail. I had an older stainless without the shroud, enjoyed the heck out of it. I used to shoot 180 grain jhp over Unique that shot realy well.

Pretty sure most 5.3 GM products fuel filter is in tank on fuel pump.
With 195 k if you gotta go that far you might as well replace the pump also.

Our local WallyWorld is almost totally bare...I'll bet they don't have a total of 10 boxes of everything....They say they have not seen ammo come in for ages...If they are making it, it ain't coming in here, unless (put on the tinfoil) they are keeping it in back for special people to buy at 0300hr...

I have one in 12/6.5x55. I have been very happy with it. It works great hunting in the Fl swamps, and since we have a fall turkey season that is concurrent with deer season you can be ready for anything.
only problem is finding a scope mount that works well as the dovetail on mine is 11 mm.
