Didn't get to see any of the moon in person, but I did get to see the launch of Skylab from Cocoa Beach. A lot more thrust than the space shuttle 7.6 million lbs of thrust verses 4.4 for the shuttle..

A few months back a buddy of mine picked up a new Leupold spoter and made me a heck of a deal on his old Baush and Laumb. He was upset when we went to the range and the B &L was better at 100 yards and better. The Leupold was better at 50 and under though.

The thing that gets me is the way they package parts. If they made parts out of the same stuff they plastic wrap them in, the parts would last a lot longer. I have broken heavy duty truck parts taking them out of that bullet proof stuff they wrap them in.

Get you some calcium carbide. You can usually get it at old timey hardware stores, hobby stores, sometimes backpacking/hiking stores, and mining supply stores. Pick some fresh runs, poke some chinks of the cc into the run, add some water. This generates acetylene gas, which is heavier than air, so i...

I have one in 12/6.5x55. I have been very happy with it. It works great hunting in the Fl swamps, and since we have a fall turkey season that is concurrent with deer season you can be ready for anything.
only problem is finding a scope mount that works well as the dovetail on mine is 11 mm.
