I couldn't ask for more than the 38-55 thats in the corner now. few people will ever know how the 94 Winchester was origanally made and this one in the second Year of production is certinaly an example of it.

Good shooting and range finding but no way would I consider it hunting.just like the local deer park where the "bawanna hunters" have feeders going all year and then sneak :shock: up in the tree (in full camo) about 25'.I can just imagine what the anti's will think...Jim.

WinM71, Do You have a roof shovel? I got one at the local hardware a few years ago.they have an aluminum blade and extension handel that extendes to 24'.You pull the snow down and it works well. We have had as much as 30" up there at one time. Jim.

Welcome to the Fire. The Colt will do a great job on deer. In a rifle the pistol cartridges really come alive. If You reload the .45 really shines.here is a great article from Paco.

I don't think you would need 20gr of 2400 to get 1100fps with a 230gr.slug. Elmers load of 18.5gr 2400 under a 255gr is My hands down favorite. Have Fun. Jim.
