I have only experienced that phenomenon when using a round seater plug on a SWC bullet... but then I have no Lee dies :P ... I would have to say that it sounds like the seater plug is not correct for the bullet shape... OR, the seater is not aligned with the ram.

That settles it! BUY BOTH! You'll be a much happier, well-rounded, fulfilled individual with both a DA and a SA in good calibers at reasonable prices that aren't likely to last... and if you're willin' to reload the .41 Mag... you love the variety and versatility of reloadin' for the .357!

Very good OS. Just about mirrors my experiences with c&b revolvers. I haven't bothered with lapping the bore or the cylinder... in the Colts they're very good, "as is"... and the ASM was around and shot a lot before I ever heard of doin' it in a c&b revolver. Follow that advice and...
