THANKS TO ALL HERE FOR THE VOLUMINOUS EMULES TO ME IN THE HOSPITAL. THE FOLKS THERE STARTED THINKING THEY HAD A CELEBRITY ON THEIR HANDS AND I JUST LET 'EM THINK SO !!!
I GOT HOME YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND AM WEAK AS A KITTEN HERE THIS MORNING. NOW THAT I THOUGHT ABOUT IT THIS WAS THE FORTH TIME I BEAT THE GRIM REAPER HERE IN SOUTH DAKOTA.
MANY THANKS AGAIN TO ALL HERE FOR THEIR KIND THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. THE LATTER WERE WHAT BROUGHT ME THROUGH IT ALL ALIVE.

That is indeed good news. My Dad went through with a resection operation several weeks ago. He is doing very well now and getting better each week. Don't forget to follow the doctor's orders, especially regarding food.

Welcome back - I spent most of my life in hospitals (being a surgeon) but, in the past 15 months, the odds caught up with me and I had three stays in the cardiac unit - each only a week or so long but seemed like a month. I was sorely missed at home - not by my wife so much - she visited me most all of every day.

My dogs, however, didn't understand my absence at bedtime so I called every night and Bonnie (wife) took it on the speaker pone. Brindle Katie wagged her tail and Charley gave kisses to the phone and when I "escaped" home, it was nearly a week before he would let me out of his sight.



Glad you got out in one piece - so to speak. It's really different being in the bed rather than beside it.

Glad to hear you escaped the clutches of the "white coats"! As my favorite uncle used to say... @#%$^& the hospital... don't you guys know that everyone goes there to die! I'm stayin' HOME, if the Lord wants me, he can find me easier here! Our Lord finally found him @ home, Uncle Roy was 96! You have a ways to go yet Terry!

There'll probably be some newcomer (or one of us'ns) that comes along and needs straightenin' out! AND TERRY, YOU'RE THE MAN FOR THE JOB!
