In France, most of my fellow citizen would be feared of living in a state like Texas (I won't!). Forgive them for their ignorance, but they truly believe – and I do not agree with them for many reasons - that a society in which every responsible citizen is armed is a dangerous society. So, regardin...

Dirt behind the shell stops which prevented it from cycling rounds out of the magazine. Those shell stops are staked to the reciever and it is nearly impossible to get it all out. I've had a couple of issued 590's and 500 defenders that had the safety issue. CLP cured it. I prefer the 500/590 over an 870. I've had both and the only one that malfunctioned was the 870. I gave it away.

I guess I gotta ask...why? Perhaps because factory 9mm is cheap. That you can get more of them in the mag might have some appeal as well. I've thought .45 ACP would be nice for a Henry; it would allow them to make the receiver the correct length. Yes, that ammo is cheap, but if you can afford the c...

If you think the -14 is good, an ANVIS 9 is "green daylight" and far superior imaging. That's why they issue them to pilots and Delta Force. I borrowed a pair, and it didn't come from a pilot.... sadly, I had to give it back a few hours later. There are extremely small thermal imagers out...

That's 3 generations behind current. A PVS-14 is very clear, you can easily (on open terrain) see a man moving at 300m. A PVS-15 is basically twin 14s. The ANVIS series is far clearer but also 2-3x the price, which is why primarily they're for pilots, special ops guys get them and the newer four-le...

I have a night vision (infrared) scope that is helpful, other than it is bulky. Hard sometimes to find critters if behind bushes or grass though.
