Nosler Partition vs Nosler Accubond

Has anyone made a comparison of these two bullets, 180 gr. for a 300 Win Mag.
Someone told me they didn't think the Accubond with the plastic tip would
hold together well with heavy animals like moose or bear. Any thoughts?

I have one that was factory installed in the early 50's it is a Lyman 56. I think that might have been standard.
It works really sweet. I don't know what they cost now, but would fit the gun nicely.

Amen to that, my dad was fighting in the South Pacific when I was born, wasn't home from the war until I was more than one. He didn't talk much about it, just accepted his place in it. He was tough and tender as a father, but I was always indebted to him for his service along with all the other men....

I've owned a 94 AE in 444 Marlin for several years. I have a scope on it but have not hunted with it yet.
Should be powerful enough to take down just about anything. Often referred to as a 44 Mag on steroids.

Yes, that confused me as well, but that is what is on the barrel, exactly. I think it was made late 80's to late 90's.
It is a featherweight, I have another featherweight 270 but it isn't a Sporter XTR, it's a classic featherweight.

I know that guys use the 270 Winchester for hunting moose quite commonly but the light weight bullet worries me a little bit.
How heavy can a person go with bullet weight on a 270 and still be effective at say inside 250 yards? Have anyone experimented with this?

Some of the 94s I see for sale on line made prior to 1964 have sling swivels. Did any of those 94s ever come from the factory with swivels, or were they always added. I have not read about that in any of the books on 94s but notice several have swivels.
