What clambering? If it is 460 WBY it will put a whopping on ya and you will go broke shooting factory ammo. You would however get huge man points at your range.

With a roll crimper, drill press and OS cards you can load a very short shell. I loaded them for my son to use in 3 gun shoots, OAL, IIRC, was 1.5".

I gave my 160 pound son a 10ga SxS and a bunch of hand loads containing (2) 69 cal RBs over a max charge of blue dot. He fires both barrels simultaneously and laughs about, but his day job is flying an F16 so a 10ga is kinda puny compared to the 20mm in his jet.

That button if depressed should raise the front of the carrier. As the OP stated it could function as a cartridge interrupter to allow ejection of a round without loading the next from the mag. A handy feature if a buck walks by while you are hunting tree rats.

How long is the handle on your press. I can't get 3/4 oz of 6 shot in a 3" hull.

I was at turkey hunt for disabled hunters last April. A teenager using a 410 with #9 TSS dropped a Tom at a measured 41 yards. It wasn't a lucky shot, the young gentleman is deadly with his 410.
