Pumping is a pain but a pumper is sure fine to shoot without that springer sensitivity to hold. Two pumps on the Benjiman 177 does for plinking, four for nasties.

Yes they were, as much as the Americans who joined Canadian or British forces before 1942 because they couldn't wait to get into the fight.
My understanding is that most of the AVG transferred in place to US forces when the AVG disbanded.

I don't buy many, the last one was a Ruger New Vaquero Bright Stainless 5 1/2 inch 45 Colt. Practiced my draw earlier while watching Paladin, right now I'm backing up Cheyenne. Quite an entertaining piece. Ride the High Country.

Whew. Glad you're still talking and typing 7.62. An allergic reaction can flare up beyond control sometimes, if that's what it was. Not since I broke the firing pin on my Winchester 94 dutifully following Finn Aargaard's advice about smoothing a new action. 200 snaps on an empty chamber did it.

1.25 eyepeices for the best bang for the buck, those bigger ones are dear, can be better to have more of them. Dobsonians are the way to get the biggest mirror for any given price and the AltAzimuth Mount makes the observer learn the sky and travel in it. If you go "cheap but good enough" ...

My 1980's carrier is dead flat where yours is crudely ground. Your looks bad enough to these eyes to be swapped for a new one in a trial by replacement. Good Luck. Please come back and tell us your tale of iron resurrection.

If it's a side mount laser don't zero dead on. Stay parallel with the bore and adjust so your rounds strike as far left or right of POA as the laser is from the bore axis. Then the error will be constant, and small, at all ranges.

A compact, lightweight shoulder weapon, cheap and robust. Manually operated (for ammo insensitivity), pump, lever whatever. Probably with plastic, maybe some parts printed where appropriate. No rails, no accessorizing necessary (that's for girls and purses anyway). Maybe not with a separate magazine...
