Was just hanging around at Alabaster SP in OK. and got my picture taken

There are caverns there but we didn`t take the tour through them.

Here's an emergence at the Old Tunnel WMA near Luchenbach.

This is only 2 million. The Breckenridge nursery cave, which doesn't have public access, houses 65 million and each mother will fly 500 miles every night, stopping to feed her baby 5 times - amazing they can pick them out of 40 million others.
All the males stay behind in Mexico - only the pregnant females travel north.

Have a photo of my bicycle on top of the pass, but from up here during an emergence, it looks like a river of bats heading down Block Creek canyon, and you can watch hawks diving in to prey on the emerging bats.

One night in the summer I woke up to my cat howling and a whooshing sound. I flipped on the light and there was a bat flying around the bedroom - it had come in through the open window. It was confused by the walls and couldn't find its way out. It kept circling, and the cat kept trying to jump up and intercept it.

I got a cardboard box and got him on the ground. The cat finally had her chance, well, she sniffed the bat and it let out a shriek like an unearthly smoke alarm. The cat nearly jumped out of her skin and went and hid. I scooped up the bat and tossed him out the window, he flew off.
