Re: 22 long rifle snap-caps....
So are we talking dry firing for trigger control or to relax springs? If dry fire practice, just remove FP and practice to your hearts desire. No matter what I'm shooting, pistol, rifle, shotgun when I'm done I always relax the springs if it's possible. Some springs always have some tension on them. ...

Health insurance is SO high because GOVERNMENT is involved, lawyers have sued and we have allowed it!
What I keep scratching my head over is WHY we are made to take it...? The "affordable" health care act is far from it! Not to mention it's a train wreck.

The biggest thing is the older doubles have 'poor' stock geometry, now that's not a knock against the guns, but the stocks were just not designed properly. We have gotten taller as a whole so LOP is usually short, drop at comb/heel are too much and people just don't learn to shoot the gun. My Redhea...

A buddy of mine was given a Marlin 38-55, we finally tracked down a box of factory loads and took it to try it out. Couldn't hit paper at 50! So we moved to 25 and put a bigger piece of paper up, then we found it shot patterns instead of groups. We knew the bore was dark and pitted but had no idea i...

As far as rimfires, when I lived at 6200' elevation out in Colorado, we sighted our 22's in at 100 yards. We could grab a brick of 22's, head to a pasture poodle town and shoot from 0-200 with rimfires and anything past with center fires. Heat up your 22-250, swap to your 22! So much fun watching yo...

Last Wensday was the end of a GB auction, I won it, a CZ Ringneck 410. I called the seller that night to give CC for payment.
Yesterday as I was driving home I called my dealer, NOPE WE DONT HAVE IT YET.
So I called the seller about it- OH WE FORGOT TO SHIP IT BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAY.

I/we hit upon your idea years ago but slightly different. Buddy of mine would use a cross, either magic marker or just black tape. This system worked very well for iron sights. They didn't say dollars spent but they said it was a record for daily back ground checks at 185,000+ checks!
Looks like Mr Trump IS making America Great Again!!!

Match bullets tend to have very thin jackets( or used to). If I knew I could get a head shot I would feel comfortable with it but I don't think I would use that bullet for a body shot. Years ago I knew an AR7 that was ' worked' if your trigger finger was a little too heavy it would double, triple or dump the whole mag at once!
Seems to me this Henry in question probably has a bad barrel/ receiver lock up.
No doubt Henry will rectify it in no time at all!
