I had a pair of Sorel a long time ago. Wore them everyday for outside work. Completely waterproof and very warm. Great for hunting. I wore them out, and they couldn't be redone.

Ok, it's old, just not old school. Then again, the flat fender group doesn't think CJ's are "Real Jeeps" either.

Where I grew up deer hunting that water bag would be an ice bag. Our kinfolks from California always had them when they came to see us in the summer.

And in many locales, you'd still be required to wear a safety orange vest over that fine gear... :P :P

What? No camo? How will you ever kill any game in plaid? They'll all spot you a mile away! ;)
Good to see you haven't succumbed to all the hype, and can still harvest in normal hunting garb!

My 95 is indeed very simple.
No A/C, radio, or airbags.
(Had to get automatic transmission for the wife)

Just looked at a new Wrangler.
Are you kidding me, I wouldn't know what to do with all that unnecessary junk in them.
Long gone are are the days of an engine & 4 wheels.

Carpeting?

Of course, right now I'm temporarily jeepless. Sunday after Thanksgiving a drunk hit mine when it was parked on the street. Darned fool almost got away with it. He slid along the rock rail so there was no sheetmetal damage. But his left front tire hit my left rear. He hit it hard enough to snap the left leaf spring at the front hanger, and bend the axle. It's likely the diff and locker are toast, as well. He got upset when the California Highway Patrol showed up and carted him off to jail.
