I would agree with the ride along several if possible or see if your town has a citizens academy that you can go through. To tell the truth most of your average citizens have no clue what a police officer, sheriff's deputy or Game Warden or anyone that is in the judical system goes through every day...

I was in a pawn shop today near my house and he had 2- Marlins both 336's 1 in 375 $669, other one 444-$499 and would not come down. Both far from being new. "You should be ashamed of yourself for stealing those guns like that". A 189 dollar price tag,

Go to the ATF web site and it explains how to ship and what you have to do. If you have a dealer you know then see what he would charge to ship it for you and add that to the price. But it does have to go to a FFL dealer. If the buyer is not a dealer it cannot be shipped straight to him.He will have...

I talked to the sellers Friday night and They are working on it. All of the postings on here pertaining to the auction have been Deleted as far as I can tell. Like you said it may take awhile. But this is how my luck's been running lately.

I found a Marlin 336 in 35 Remington today at a pawn shop near my house. Price $249.95 + Tax, it was in Good shape. I have never owned a Marlin, Winchester's and Rossi lever guns only, Should I lay it away? I wish that Tax rebate would come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recoil pad came in today fit the old wooden stock I fitted to a stevens 124 shotgun I picked up. Not much to look at, but it shoots.
