That's not news. They did that in AK, there was an article in Outdoor Life about it. Female game warden busted a guide and a bunch of his clients from Fla, for killing sheep.sobenk wrote:look out hunters, in CA they used deer DNA to bust a poacher.
They used DNA to prove it.
Also some other warden used DNA to bust a guy in Wy (I think) for baiting wolves. The guy used poisoned elk meat as bait and the warden found some of the bait, found a dead wolf with it in him ,and it matched the DNA found on cutting tools in the guys garage.
